- Our concept is to create pieces that serve as accents in daily life, bringing a sense of richness to those with a discerning eye. We work every day to realise a "creation of living spaces" that brings genuine joy to each and every customer.
- Founded in 1956
- We celebrate our 70th anniversary in 2026. While upholding tradition, we develop products suited to each era, always mindful of creating new product value. Our staff includes certified traditional craftspeople, and skilled artisans oversee every stage of the process to continuously improve quality.
- Lidded Vessels
- Our founder, Kiyomi Tanaka, focused on chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) vessels and made lidded ware our core speciality. Since then, we have remained committed to lidded vessels, developing over 100 shapes to date.
- Our Commitment
- We fire our kiln up to 1300°C over 16–17 hours, resulting in vessels with real strength and durability. We have broadened our range by applying commercial-grade techniques and design to everyday products, many of which feature bright, vivid colours.
